To apply you must submit copies of the following:

Completed Application (click on icon to print out).

Copy of Driver's License.

Copy of renter's insurance binder (minimum of $50,000 liability and $20,000 aircraft damage & loss).

Copy of pilot certificate (if applicable).

Copy of current medical certificate.
Email digital copies to membership@capefearflyingclub.com or deliver physical copies to our office inside Modern Aviation.

Why join the Cape Fear Flying Club?
We are conveniently located in Modern Aviation at Wilmington International Airport.
Modern Aviation (formerly Air Wilmington) is a first-class FBO that offers our members red carpet service. With a simple phone call, the aircraft are pulled out to the flight line, fueled and awaiting your arrival.
Most of our planes offer advanced avionics, including equipment such as the Garmin G1000, G3X Touch, G5, GTN 750 and 650, GFC 500 and more.
N829DS is air conditioned for those hot, muggy days!
Most of our aircraft are hangared, keeping planes warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
Want to take an overnight or weekend trip? Many members do! Our club has a suggested minimum of just two flight hours per day (some exceptions apply).
Club social events are a great way to meet new people. We always have a good time hanging out with other pilots.
Need a safety pilot? The club offers a network of pilots to go fly with!
Club insurance policy is better than most, offering $1 million in coverage on all our planes and very few additional requirements to be checked out in most aircraft.
